The Death of America

On March 21, 2010, Americans suffered an emense blow to the freedom that we have enjoyed in our country. The constitution of the land has been willfilly subverted by those who have sworn to uphold and protect it. Is this a sign of the last days? It just may be. When Godless people rise to power do we as Christians have any recourse? Yes we do!  The word of God Gives us the solution and the call to action.
2 Chronicles 7:14    
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Wherever you stand on the Health care reform issue, You know that our Country has been greatly damaged by the process of bribes, lies and threats used to get the votes from those who are supposed to represent the people. If those who have accepted the bribes and bowed down to the threats are truly representing us, we are an evil people in this land. Godly people would never condone this process of lies, and strong arm tactics to force others to bend to their will. It is now certainly the time for us to pray for the healing of our land. We must drop to our knees and cry out to God for his mercy and forgiveness so that our land will be healed. and we may once again become "One Nation Under God"

"Father forgive us for we have become a perverse nation and have turned our national face away from you.
We have fallen short in all areas of rightousness and allowed great corruption to overtake this land.This didn't happen in a day but has been an on going process of apathy and sefishness. We as a nation have turned away from the paths of rightousness and have chosen to go our own way. Now, Mighty God, We are reaping what we have sown. Please Lord, Look upon us with mercy and forgiveness. Help us to abandon our evil way's and turn back to you oh Lord. Make America One Nation Under God once again. Let Your people rise up in victory as we shout praise unto your name. For you alone are God and only you can heal our land. In Jesus name we humble ourselves and cry out to you, Almighty God, as we seek your face and plead for your mercy upon this country you have entrusted to us. We turn from our evil ways and await your forgiveness and restoration. Wash us in the blood of Jesus and heal us as a nation  and as individuals. In the name of Jesus we pray."

The Song of the Sea

My lust shall be satisfied upon them, I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them,'" reads the song, which appears in the Book of Exodus. "Thou didst blow thy wind, the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters."

The Song of the Sea, sung by jubilant Israelites after fleeing slavery in Egypt and witnessing the destruction of the pharaoh's armies in the Red Sea.



 In celebration of God's deliverence  of the Israel from the armies of Pharaoh the song  is still chanted by Jews in different communities worldwide.

 Today I was pondering a short prayer from 1Chronicals 4:9-10. This prayer is placed right in the midst of the  list of the decendents  of Judah .It has become Known as the prayer of Jabez. As I was reading this short prayer It hit me that I was not grasping the full implications of such a bold prayer. At first it seemed to be quite self centered, But then I remembered what Jesus said. "Ye have not because ye ask not." God wants us to ask and to ask big! Our dependence on him is a true form of worship that is fully based on faith and trust in his love for us and his amazing power. God wants to bless us  so much more then we could ever ask. Jabez unlocked the mystery to a more abundant life when he cried out to God saying "Oh that you would bless me indeed, and increase my territory, that your hand would be upon me , and that you would keep me from evil that I may cause no pain. This prayer is packed with spiritual power and truth. We need God to meet our deepest needs and we need to ask him to transform us into vessels for his honor. We need the power of God to keep us from sin because we are but weak flesh and blood. Without the fullness of Gods blessings and power we can never fully become the person he created us to be. So pray as Jabez prayed and ask God to bless you and increase your territory, (your destiny,) and to keep you from evil that you shall cause no pain to others. You will be amazed what God can and will do in your life.

Is There an Increase in Anti-Christian Sentiment?

Is it just me or do others feel like there is an increase in anti-Christian sentiment Through out the world? Are we moving into a post Christian era In America? Will we have to suffer persecution as our fellow believers have already suffered? These are questions that I have been pondering as I see the rapid changes going on in our country and throughout the world. I think the biggest shocker was when president Obama declared that the United States of America is not a Christian nation. He said this during a speech he gave in Egypt. Why would he deny our basic roots and heritage? Maybe it is because he is not truely a Christian. I believe that now is the time for all Christians to get on their knees and pray so God can heal our land. We need to cry out for The intervention of the Most High God  before we become as other Godless nations and ultimately suffer the wrath of out creator.  What will become of us if we ignore what is happening?
