Is There an Increase in Anti-Christian Sentiment?

Is it just me or do others feel like there is an increase in anti-Christian sentiment Through out the world? Are we moving into a post Christian era In America? Will we have to suffer persecution as our fellow believers have already suffered? These are questions that I have been pondering as I see the rapid changes going on in our country and throughout the world. I think the biggest shocker was when president Obama declared that the United States of America is not a Christian nation. He said this during a speech he gave in Egypt. Why would he deny our basic roots and heritage? Maybe it is because he is not truely a Christian. I believe that now is the time for all Christians to get on their knees and pray so God can heal our land. We need to cry out for The intervention of the Most High God  before we become as other Godless nations and ultimately suffer the wrath of out creator.  What will become of us if we ignore what is happening?

The Basic Plan Of Salvation

The plan of salvation is quite simple. In fact so simple that many hesitate to believe it can be so uncomplicated. It is a matter of faith and not of works lest any man boast.

Imagine if you can, a meeting of God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit before the existence of time. At this meeting the topic was creation and Salvation.

Being omnipotent and all knowing, not hindered by the confines of time, God was able to know that a plan of salvation was going to be imperative to those he was about to create. You must understand that God created us with a free will so we could chose to accept or reject the amazing offer of salvation he had for us. We are created in the Image of God and that is why we have free will as He does. The plan had to be simple and uncomplicated so all could have the chance to chose. If you start in the old testament the plan is being revealed and unfolded book by book. In the new testament the plan is put into action and carried out.

The blood of an unblemished lamb was the sacrifice for sin throughout the old testament as a preparation for what was to come. In the new testament the culmination of all that has come before is revealed. Innocent blood is the only atonement for all our sins. Here in lay the problem. There would be no one who was completely with out sin or blemish because we have free will and are unable to live up to the perfection of God . well The solution was obvious.

God himself would be the sacrifice. So Jesus, the second person of the Godhead, came to us as a human born of the Spirit of God and a woman. Still fully God and yet fully human, he walked the paths of mankind and observed our frailty. He also experienced our pain and sorrows. after 33 short years, Jesus, In accordance to the prophets of the old testament was seized, tortured and crucified unto death.

His blood was the innocent blood that was shed for the sin's of all mankind. After 3 day's, he rose from the dead and walked among the people once again so they would know that he, Jesus. is the savior they had heard of and waited for. After his time here was complete he rose into heaven, as witnessed by his Apostles, to prepare a place for all who chose to follow him there.

The plan is so simple. All we have to do is believe that Jesus is who he said he is and that His blood was and is sufficient for the atonement of sin for each of us. Jesus is the way of salvation provided for all and He is our hope and redemption. There is no other work then that of the Crucifixion of Jesus, the Son of God, that can cleanse us of sin. So now is the time to accept the free gift of Salvation. Jesus already paid for it with His death and resurrection over 2000 years ago.
